North Carolina. Interested in both philosophy
and photography, his creative process is mostly
a solitary exercise, a search for intellectual
subtlety and aesthetic simplicity.

His personal chronology is as follows:

1968 Born in Chicago, Illinois.
1979 Family moves to Atlanta, Georgia.
1985 Travels with family to Germany and Italy.
1986 Begins study at The University of Dayton.
1989 Travels to Finland, Poland, USSR.
1990 Completes BA in Philosophy.
1990 Travels throughout Western Europe.
1990 Moves back to Atlanta, Georgia.
1993 Studies Fine Art at Georgia State University.
1995 Moves to Athens, Georgia. Continues study at The University of Georgia.
1997 Accepts Fellowship at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
1999 Completes MFA in Printmaking and Sculpture.
2000 Travels to Ireland, France, Germany.
2000 Makes home in Greensboro.
2000 Serves on the Executive Board of the Historic Wafco Mills HOA.
2000 Maintains small downtown studio and gallery.
2000 Exhibits work in Greensboro and Charlotte, North Carolina.
2001 Travels again to Paris, France. Buys "Essais" by Montaigne.
2002 Travels to Boston, Massachusetts and Maine.
2003 Teaches drawing and writes art column for local paper.
2003 Begins working in Rare Book Conservation.
2004 Publishes small private edition of first book - Letters to Montaigne.
2006 Travels to California.
2006 Invests in, opens, then closes live music venue in Greensboro.
2006 Begins research for second, yet-to-be-named book.
2006 Begins exploration of photography as creative medium.
2007 Creates online journal - stillbook.
2007 Travels to Alaska.
2007 Begins working for a printing and design company.
2007 Organizes a Photography Exhibition benefiting Greensboro's Park System.
2008 Photography selected for publication in WFDD/NPR Calendar.
2008 Becomes Adjunct Member of The Guilford County Open Space Committee.
2008 Exhibits work in Carrboro, North Carolina.
2008 Donates photography for MS Fundraiser in Greensboro, NC.
2008 Travels throughout the United States - photographs over 20 national parks.
2009 Accepts position with previous Rare Book Conservation employer.
